In RoyalKingdoms, resources are essential for constructing buildings, upgrading your colonies, training troops, and conducting trade with other players. Each player must carefully manage and gather resources to thrive in the game, especially with the looming 30-day blizzard cycle.
Types of Resources
There are six primary resources in RoyalKingdoms:
Wood:
One of the most fundamental resources, used for constructing basic and advanced buildings.
Source: Gathered from Forests and contributed by players in RoyalCity.
Usage: Primarily used in construction and upgrades.
Stone:
It is essential for building sturdier constructions and upgrading defensive structures.
Source: Extracted from Quarries.
Usage: Used to upgrade buildings and certain defensive constructions.
Iron:
A key resource for advanced troop equipment and upgrading high-level buildings.
Source: Mined from Iron Mines or contributed by players.
Usage: Used for troop training, advanced construction, and high-level building upgrades.
Food:
It is crucial for sustaining your population, especially peasants and citizens.
Source: Resource nodes, farms, and some builds.
Usage: Food is required to maintain the working population of peasants and citizens. Without adequate food, productivity decreases, and the population might leave your colony.
Tools:
Special resource that are necessary for creating and maintaining Citizens.
Source: Produced in Workshops
Usage: Tools are required to upgrade peasants into Citizens, and are necessary for upgrading certain advanced buildings, making them a key resource in expanding your colony's infrastructure.
Luxury Goods:
Luxury Goods are rare and high-end items essential for creating and maintaining Nobles.
Source: Acquired from Trade Posts or produced by specific high-level buildings.
Usage: Creation of Nobles: Luxury Goods are necessary to upgrade Citizens into Nobles, a prestigious class with specific benefits.
Coins:
The in-game currency is used for trade and troop maintenance.
Source: Peseants, citizens and Nobles generates coins over time.
Usage: To create and maintain troops.
Crystal Tokens:
The premium currency of RoyalKingdoms, Crystal Tokens is scarce but powerful in the game economy.
Source: Mined in special Crystal Mines, earned through contributions in RoyalCity or deposit via blockchain.
Usage: Some elite troops and high-level buildings require Crystal Tokens for training and upgrades, Crystal Tokens give players influence in RoyalCity, allowing them to vote on political decisions and buffs for their colony, crystal tokens can be used to trade in Royal Trading post for others players resources.
